We have been working together for more than 15 years. We have built products in events, e-commerce, telecommunications, automotive, digital health and medicine, and everywhere we've learned the same thing. Good software is the kind people stop noticing because it simply makes their lives easier.
Our last project together was an AI clinical assistant for doctors. In medicine a made-up answer is never acceptable, yet it answered accurately, instantly and at any hour. It convinced us that AI was ready for real work, not just demos.
Meanwhile we watched vacation rental managers being pulled in a hundred directions at once. Answering a guest who wants the Wi-Fi password, sure, but mostly figuring out who's arriving tomorrow, checking which tasks are still open, updating property details and keeping the team in sync. All while jumping between five different screens. People in the hospitality business spending their days fighting their own operations.
That's where we saw the opportunity. If AI could help a doctor find the right answer, it could help a manager give every guest the care they deserve and give their team back time for the things only a person can do. That's how Karibai was born.
